In recent years, the government  has been adhering steadfastly to the motto of "characteristic zone". A series of leading industries such as deep processing, new materials, bio pharmaceutics, light industry manufacturing, high-new electron and mechanical manufacturing have taken shape. New metal industry led by Fuhai Industry and Lei's Mining, building materials industry led by Huasheng Steel and Green Leaf Wood, environmental chemical industry led by Huaichuan Chemical and Sanxin Electrochemical, electronic technology industry led by Hengxin Electronic and Leisheng Electronic, light industry manufacturing led by Sanxing Textile Company have established their base. There are altogether 68 enterprises in the zone. Four of these have investments of over 100 million yuan and 6 of them have investments touching 50 million yuan.
